Privacy policy

1. Who we are

FRMZ is a photo carousel, collage, and story creation app provided by Craft Digital, New Delhi, India. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use the app, visit this website, or contact us.

For privacy questions or requests, contact business@craftdigital.co.in. The app is currently coming soon; the app-related sections describe its features when available.

2. Information we handle

• Account information: your name, email address, account identifier, verification records, and authentication information. Password-based accounts store a password hash. If you choose Google sign-in, Google and Firebase help verify your identity, and we receive account details such as your verified email, name, and provider identifier.
• Creative content: photos you import, project layouts, text you add, editing settings, saved projects, and media references. Your original files may contain embedded metadata; do not assume that importing or exporting removes it.
• Preferences and activity: saved templates, app preferences, subscription status, and export records associated with your account. Optional product analytics are described separately below.
• Purchases: subscription identifiers, entitlement status, and transaction information used to verify or restore purchases. Apple or Google handles payment details; FRMZ does not ask you to enter card details directly.
• Support: your email address and information you include in messages or feedback. Please share only what is needed to resolve your request.

3. Your photos and cloud sync

Your imported photos, project documents, and saved editing state are stored on your device first. When you sign in and cloud sync is available, your photos are uploaded to private cloud storage and your project documents are associated with your account so they can be restored across devices.

Cloud photo storage uses Amazon Web Services (AWS S3), with temporary upload links and account-based access controls. Background removal is processed on your device. Exporting or sharing a project sends it to the destination you choose; that destination’s own privacy practices apply.

Signing out clears FRMZ projects, drafts, imported media, and sync data from that device. Keep your original photos and export work you want to retain before signing out. Exports saved outside the app are separate copies.

4. How we use information

We use information to create and authenticate accounts, deliver verification and password-reset emails, save and sync projects, provide templates, verify purchases, restore subscriptions, respond to support requests, and protect the service against misuse.

Where applicable law requires a basis for processing, we rely on providing the service you request, your consent for optional processing, and applicable legal obligations or other lawful grounds. We do not use your photos or creative text for product analytics.

5. Optional analytics

Product analytics in the app are off by default. If you enable analytics, PostHog may receive selected events such as a template being used or an export completing, together with limited properties such as platform, format, slide count, and an internal account identifier when signed in.

These events exclude photo content, creative text, project names, email addresses, passwords, and authentication tokens. Session replay is not enabled. You can turn analytics off in the app’s privacy settings; doing so stops future optional event collection but does not automatically erase previously collected events.

6. Service providers and sharing

Information is processed by providers needed for the features you use: AWS for cloud media storage; Google/Firebase for Google sign-in; email delivery services for verification and support; RevenueCat and Apple or Google for subscriptions; and PostHog if you enable analytics. Hosting and database providers process information needed to operate the service.

We may disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect rights, security, or users. Provider processing may take place outside your country. Applicable privacy requirements and safeguards depend on the service and location involved. Contact us for questions about your information.

7. Device permissions

FRMZ uses your device’s photo or file picker to access the content you select. Depending on your device and the feature, photo-library or storage permission may be needed to import or save images. You can review or revoke permissions in device settings; related features may then be unavailable.

The app does not require access to your contacts or precise device location for photo editing. Location information already embedded in a photo may be part of the file you select.

8. Retention and security

Local projects remain on your device until cleared through app actions, sign-out, or removal of app data. Synced account records, projects, and media can remain in cloud storage after account access is deactivated; deactivation does not immediately erase them, and the current app does not apply a fixed automatic deletion period to all cloud data.

When you request erasure, we will review the associated account, project, media, and provider records and explain any information that must be retained for applicable legal, security, or transaction obligations. Contact us for the status and scope of your request. We do not promise an automatic or immediate purge.

We use measures such as authenticated access, password hashing, and private media storage to protect information. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

9. Delete your account and data

To request deletion of your FRMZ account and associated personal data, email business@craftdigital.co.in with the subject “FRMZ account and data deletion”. Send the request from your account email where possible. You can also request deletion of specific data. You do not need to reinstall the app.

We may need to verify ownership before acting on a request. Do not send passwords or verification codes. We will explain the steps, scope, and any applicable retention requirements when handling your request.

In the app, You → Delete account immediately deactivates account access and clears local app data. This is distinct from permanent erasure of stored cloud information; use the email route above to request that erasure.

Account deletion or uninstalling the app does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Manage it separately through the store where you subscribed. Copies you exported or shared outside FRMZ are not removed by deleting your FRMZ account.

10. Your choices and requests

You can choose which photos to import, manage device permissions, use available local editing features without cloud sync, and control optional analytics. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, or obtain a copy of personal information, withdraw consent, or raise a privacy grievance.

Contact business@craftdigital.co.in to exercise these rights or raise a concern. Withdrawing consent does not change the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Some requests may affect features that depend on the relevant information.

11. This website and children

This landing website does not include analytics, advertising trackers, account registration, or a mailing-list form. Its hosting service may process standard request information, such as IP address and browser details, to deliver and secure the website. Emailing us shares the information in your message with us and our email provider.

FRMZ is not designed specifically for children. Where a user is a child under applicable law, a parent or guardian should contact us before personal information is submitted so any required consent can be addressed. If you believe a child has provided personal information without required authorization, contact us to request review and removal.

12. Updates and contact

We may update this policy as FRMZ or applicable requirements change. The date above indicates the latest revision. Where required, material changes will be communicated through the app or another appropriate channel.
